About the client: The Duke of Cumberland Hotel
The Duke of Cumberland Hotel is more than just a place to drink; it also offers good food, accommodation and function facilities. The company over the recent years has changed dramatically under the guidance of landlord Paul Guilfoyle but he is still ambitious to move the company onwards.
The Solution
Marketing on a Shoestring held a meeting with Paul, on-site, to properly understand the current situation and what the objectives for the future were. We then developed an integrated marketing communication campaign to help Paul achieve the agreed objectives. Marketing on a Shoestring also provided advice on other areas of the marketing mix outside of the promotional area; such as pricing policies and product developments.
